Support for Volunteer Managers

Volunteering Bristol are funded by the Big Lottery to deliver the Volunteer Management Project. We support volunteer managers to benefit the organisation and improve the volunteering experience.

Support includes:

·         Free one-to-one support sessions with our designated worker

·         Low-cost volunteer management training – run in partnership with Voscur

·         Volunteer Organisers Forum – a group of over 100 volunteer managers who meet bi-monthly

Volunteer Management Portal

Volunteering England's Volunteer Management Portal acts as a gateway to the world of volunteer management with links to over a thousand resources and information on support, training and development opportunities for people managing volunteers. You can also contact Volunteering England on vmportal@volunteeringengland.org if you would like to add your organisation to the portal for support you offer volunteer managers.

 Volunteering Bristol has published a guide for volunteer managers on diversity.  Entitled "Improving and Supporting Diversity in your Workforce"  Copies are being posted to all the organisations registered with Volunteering Bristol but can also be downloaded here
